This tutorial focuses on very introductory concepts of thermochemistry. Definitions such as system and surroundings are discussed. State functions are identified and related to thermochemistry as well as differentiating between intensive and extensive properties. Finally both exothermic and endothermic energy diagrams are presented. This is a very basic discussion of key terms that introduce this unit of study.
