Hence he was right to give the chassis to Albon. #AusGP

As an American it’s been painful to watch him this season.

i really feel for Logan but i think the pressure is building higher and higher every race weekend, and i don’t think he can take the pressure

The more this whole saga continues, the more it kind of shows that Logan just wasn't ready for F1 yet. There is potential and I'd cling to his Q3 in Zandvoort, but then the errors just come in...just like in that Q3 in Zandvoort. There's just nothing of good note in his run this year and it's like Murphy's Law dialed up to 100 for him with mistake after mistake.

Edit: Thank god he's scored a point in COTA after Lewis and Charles get disqualified. That might help is case for staying next year.

"Logan, it's James, please leave your seat open by the end of the season, I'm sorry.

It is also hard for Logan to be in the same rookie class as Piastri who is getting podiums so he doesn't really compare too well to his teammate and other rookies 😅

The timing of these releases is hilarious in hindsight

I fell bad for Logan. During the sprint race Logan was within 0.3s of the Alpha Romano’s but he didn’t pass. I think he is scared to pass in fear of causing damage. Either he knows he is out of a drive or the he might not have a seat, is definitely affecting his driving performance.

That's why we should never say big words before the whole weekend ends. I don't think however that after his first point he has secured his seat

Logan Sargeant wasn't in the same car as Albon, Vowles has said that multiple times. Thats why they are giving him another year

It’s kinda crazy how you can start your racing career so young and make it to F1, which is not easy to do, all to crumble under pressure. Logan is a great driver, but just not in F1.

Removing rookies after their first year sets a dangerous and unforgiving precident.

It basically says "hit the ground running or have no career"

If that's what you want the sport to be, then don't be sad and surprised when the sport ages it self out then scrambles to fill the grid with unprepared drivers.

He wasn't actually far off Albon this race, he used the sprint as a practice race and he changed his racing dynamic to improve. That's the main reason that he got points after Hamilton and Leclerc dropped out.

I’m not saying he should have another year, but I think we should but him a bit of slack. It’s become obvious that Albon is an incredible driver, so any rookie (Except for a generational one like Piastri) would struggle in their first year against him.

Here after the race. Logan matched Alex’s pace and scored his first point :)

I think an additional point to be noted is that Oscar is also a rookie but look at him. Even with that horrible McLaren at the start of the season he was so good. Logan is not fully ready yet.
