Longboarder paddles into a yummy left and a midlengther shoulder-hops. After some back-and-forth feisty carves one surfer falls. The surfer loses his surfboard. The surfboard catches up to the other surfer and causes that surfer to fall as well. both surfboards float all the way to the shore and end up on top of each other. Both surfers swim to shore and exchange words in passing. Surely this video does not tell the backstory to such an encounter. That can be left up to imagination. This scenario is not that uncommon at populated surf spots.

Surfing is full of PUNKS now. It wasn't always like this though ~ Kitesurfing now... anyone who screws up that way has some very serious injuries to look forward to. Surfing has lost it's allure for me. I still love my lifestyle but there's no need to paddle anymore. I've successfully avoided many many confrontations and always been with the sportsmanship of it. In the really old days tho ~ You could have your car burnt or worse. I never did that stuff but it happened. Beware punks, yer next...

I don’t have these issues. If you drop in on me you are going to get my hands on you or your rail and you are coming off my wave. I fork lifted a guys rail just last weekend. The longboarder had a chance but chose to avoid and look what that got him. A skeg into his stick.
