It's great to have all the Walt Simonson love in the Marvel books releasing this week.

Man I am LOVING the time stamps on these multiple book videos. Glad you added that! Might pick up Black Cat but we’ll see. :) As always, thank you for these weekly vids, my man! Algorithm gang! <3

This Black Cat run is amazing, I'm collecting variants and reading it as they come out AND getting the trades. Because I'm one of those dorks. Her new tie-ins to King In Black are great though, I can't wait to see where her series goes from here. As for the Thor collection I'm excited to see it in a single paperback and will definitely be picking it up, too. Same for the Eternals stuff. Not to mention having all the Vision/Scarlet Witch stuff in one book is a big bonus, considering I never got a chance to collect the 12-issue series. I only have a couple here and there reprinted in Avengers and WCA collected editions!

I guess I'm buying everything in this vid except the Marvel-Verse one. Typical of me lol

Celestial saga is by far the best Eternals story and it’s not even close. This is way better than everything in the Eternals omnibus. Love this story

Absolutely love the shakesperean dialect that Lee infused into his run along with the biblical type speech . It made it regal and authentic and part of what makes this character unique. It's number one run for me. Classic 🔥🔥 and Simonson's run is on par with it. But Thor is just one of those characters who's had a lot of consistently great runs. Haven't read them all, but it's dope 🔨🔨⚡⚡ gotta get into that eternals saga tho.

you so much Omar for the great video and info.
I was wondering, is Marvel going to publish Savage Sword of Conan as an Epic Collection?

Great overview! Like the WandaVision book. I am ok with Saga books. If it is a continues serie I would prefer Epic collection, to keep the same spine look.

I love these videos.

When is your monthly haul Omar?

I have the original Eternals saga in both original Thor issues and the two part trades so triple dipping is a little excessive but I'll be picking up the Vision and Wanda Saga since I sold those issues eons ago in the great purge.

Uncanny Omar, I can't tell if you ultimately read the Thor Celestial Saga or not but you are absolutely right - it is among the top 3 Thor runs - and in my opinion it was better than the Simonson run. I won't spoil the last two issues (specifically #300) in case you haven't read it, but OMG it was the most epic climax ever (3rd following death of Phoenix by Claremont/Byrne/Austin (#1) and death of Elektra (#2). I wish I would have been consulted by David Gabriel b/c rather than adding a bunch of issues to the Eternals omnibus I would have put together something that we could call the Celestial Omnibus and it would include: A) Jack Kirby's original run; B) The Thor Celestial Saga; C) The What Ifs and Peter Gillis/Simonson run; D) The Neil Gaiman 7-issue series. That would have been a SAGA!!

Hey, Omar! I have a question that I think you can answer because I believed you have addressed it in the past. The question has to do with restocks. Now, I’m lucky in that I did not miss out on any of those restock books. I was able to get them as they came out. But, I have been seeing the terms reprint and restock being used interchangeably on the MMW forum. I believe I know the answer to the question, but wanted your clarification. So, lets use Absolute Carnage omni as an example when it comes to restock. Now, that book was released in September and was gone quick. Now, I believe the book went quick because the full run of that book(how many we don’t really know) was not fully printed at the time because of the current world situation. So then, when the printer was ready, more were printed and that is when the restock was received in November, I think it was. Also, you said a restock was coming in the Spring as well. So, is this what a restock is? Someone on the MMW forum told me that this was not the case and that all of the books were printed at once and just a certain amount were sent out initially in Sept, and the rest sent out in November for the restock, and the remainder will be sent out again in the Spring. I don’t think what that person stated was correct. He made it sound like the whole run was printed, but all of the books were unable to be sent out to be sold the first time and were just sitting somewhere waiting to be sent out for a second time, hence a restock. I don’t know why this bothers me as I have all the books in question, but I was seeing the two terms reprint(I know what that means), and restock being used to mean the same thing when clearly they don’t. Maybe you can clear this up and verify what the true meaning of restock is. Thanks Omar!

I've always wondered how they decide on covers. The first Marvel Horror Omnibus had one cover, the follow-up Horror Lives Again had two covers. The first Amazing Spider-Man Omni by JMS had one cover, the second volume had THREE!!! Infinity Gauntlet Omni had two to choose from, Infinity War had just the one whereas Infinity Crusade has two. What are the thought processes that go into these decisions? Please understand I'm not being critical just wanted a peak behind the curtain; wondering what goes on in the corridors of power.

Hi Omar! Thanks for another great overview! Just wondering, I haven't seen any mention of the Avengers The Gathering Omnibus which shows as coming out in March 2021. Do you have any details about it yet?

Thor and the Eternals has me tempted but I feel there's an Omni or OHC worth of Thor with the Celestials, Deviants and Eternals

If you are salty beacuse of the man of steel regular hc I'm just gonna tell that ECC (spanish DC publisher) is collecting man of steel by byrne in their omnibus line, as thick as an omni, as pricy as an omni but the size of that captain marvel marvel verse book xD
