In this video, we will explore the basic concepts and principles of chemistry, and how it impacts our daily lives.

Chemistry is a fascinating and essential field of study that involves the examination and manipulation of atoms and molecules. It is the scientific study of matter and its properties, and how it interacts and transforms with other matter.

In this video, we will dive deeper into the fundamental concepts of chemistry, such as the periodic table, chemical reactions, and the properties of different elements and compounds. We will also discuss the importance of chemistry in various industries, including pharmaceuticals, plastics, energy, and agriculture.

Furthermore, we will explore how chemistry plays a crucial role in addressing global challenges, such as climate change, pollution, and sustainability. We will highlight how chemists work to develop new materials, technologies, and processes to help solve these problems and improve our world.

By the end of this video, you will have a better understanding of the importance of chemistry and how it impacts our daily lives. So sit back, relax, and join us on this journey into the fascinating world of chemistry!

I learned so much about Chemistry listening to you in this 45 minutes than I spent hours reading a book that can't be understood, because it's written so official.

What makes lectures/lessons run by Mr.Gibson outstanding is that he always emphasize and remind students that we know very little about the nature. This is inspiring student tremendously. Jason is a GREAT teacher really. He is knowledgeable but very humble.

I don't know if you take requests but this one is related to chemistry. I have been using electrolysis to clean up an old cast iron skillet. I am using baking soda for electrolyte. The baking soda collects at the anode and eats the material away. The pan gets cleaner over time. I only see the baking soda collection at the anode so where is the material from the pan going? It appears to build up in the electrolyte!

Greeting Professor Jason, can you please make a video on Eulers Diagrams.
I was reading a book on Einstein relativity and he keeps bringing it up and I searched to see if you have any teachings on it and I couldn’t find any.
It would be wonderful Mr Jason!

Thank you sir!!

Jason, you are simply like no other. I do tell my colleagues that if you can't understand when Jason explains, then you will never understand that concept any where in the world.

Atoms of same type combine to form an element. Do molecules of same type combine to form compounds?

Ok people, the next time you fall off a ladder, remember gravity is really weak, so it won't hurt when you hit the deck.

are elements, atoms?
if so, why 2 different names?
