2014 Nissan 370Z Nismo - 2013 Chicago Auto Show

Agree, a nismo version should add the option of it being supercharged or turbo charged

I guess thats cool. I mean the center console is about a inch away. Also if you're in a nismo and you're worried about being able to turn the volume up while racing you're doing something wrong.

The last thing they should do is make it a 3.7L turbo, but a smaller displacement such as a 3L V6 tt or even a 4cyl turbo would work great. Turbos are incredibly efficient in terms of power and fuel consumption. Nissan can definitely make a turbo car and still keep a "under 40k price" while also making sure the next gen Z is efficient in terms of mpg.

Nissan said their next generation Z will be just as you say, lighter and smaller. Still love my 370Z roadster though.

He said the nismo package has larger brakes than the regular 370z, but i hear they are the same

Exactly! and the Z should be competition against Mustang GT, Camaro SS, BMW 335i, Porsche Boxster, etc..

Very true but Nissan should do it anyways or at least offer something between a GTR & the Z. Maybe bring the silvia back & bump up the Z. Great car either way I've always liked them since the old Datsun days.

Nothing new, no point to buy one. Nissan just said if you want more power, wait till the new Z drops in '15. I even own a 370 and for anyone saying ooh ill wait, no reason, no changes at all.

Nissan should re-release the 240sx for a low cost rwd competition for the FR-S/BRZ's

Just aftermarket turbo a 2010 370 and I bet it could match up to this

A brand new nismo is over 40k you do understand thats the same price as a evo or a sti or something better. I just dont think the huge extra for nismo is worth it. A regular ole 370 is a good choice but the nismo isnt worth any of its extra cost. Plus the fact that nissan sports cars still dont come with brembos, recaros and a momo wheel standard like almost everyone does these days is kinda dumb.
