Good guide for those who don't know, I just wish Nintendo did not have a hard cap at 100 Mii's and would just let you save them to the MicroSD card.

For anyone that has a old 3ds and wants to transfer miis, I think you can make a QR code and have the Wii U scan them into it’s system. Then you can do the regular process. I’m not sure if it has QR code scan

I have a 3rd way to make past Miis come to switch... simply just make a Mii and use your original as your example! Just like Octo expansion's Match the Shape course! Trust me, it may be hard on MOST occasions, but it works all the time for me!

If you don't own a New 3DS, but own both an original 3DS and a Wii U, you can transfer Miis from Wii that way, you madman.

Thanks for the information and showing all the steps clearly and easy to understand, as it stands I do not have a WiiU or 2DS/3DS just a Wii, so I won't be able to transfer the Miis, that being said, what is the advantage of transferring the Miis from one console to another? to they carry the used data like points and expertise from let's say bowling or tennis from the Wii Sports just to name something. I'm just being curious as I just recently got a Switch and if I don't have to I rather just make some new Miis. Thanks for your time.

To be honest, I wish it was possible to transfer Miis from the Wii to the Switch, ‘cause the Wii is where I have all my Miis, and I don’t feel like making any of them from scratch on my Switch, ‘cause it would be a hassle. I suppose what I could do is transfer them to my 3DS and then put them on my Switch from there, if that’s possible. But are Miis still on a Wii when they’re transferred to a 3DS and they’re on both? ‘Cause I still want my Miis to be on my Wii.
