@fishduck83 sweet video man, I think you unintentionally hit on a key point, that point being Oregon runs their defense the way they do because of the weapons and personnel they have on their defense. A 4-3 defense wouldn't take advantage of Oregons good blitzing linebackers opposed to a 3-4 where you can take advantage of those linebackers and the element of unpredictability by blitzing in unique ways that will cause havoc for opposing offenses

I don't remember any Pac 8, Pac 10 or Pac 12 who has won a National Championship with the 3-4. The TROJANS AND HUSKIES when they won a share of their titles used the 4-3. The 4-3 is the best defense. The Seahawks use it. This is why they are Super Bowl Champs! The ducks will not win a National Championship using the 3-4. a 4-3 can be just as good If you have 2 DE that can rush the passer. The 3-4 Sucks! It can be exploited the most. It's the second worse to the 3-3-5 DEFENSE.
