Remote Monitoring System for a Telco in the Middle East

This monitoring system for 20 remote sites was designed for a telecom company in the Middle East. It includes 16 of the NetGuardian M16 G2 RTU for medium-size sites, plus an additional 4 TempDefender G2 RTUs for smaller sites. These RTUs monitor generators, smoke detectors, temperature, humidity, and other alarms. The NetGuardian uses a 66-block for alarm termination, while the TempDefender has built-in spring-clamp connectors on its back panel. The T/Mon MINI master station polls all 20 of these alarm remotes regularly to maintain a total picture of the network's status. T/Mon then provides a map-based interface to view that network status. It can also send emails or SMS text messages to technicians in the field. Alarm history can be collected in PDF reports for review.
