I was at thebRocknbRoll hall of fame in Indianapolis the year a floor was dedicated to John. His blood soaked glasses were on display there in a glass case. That whole exhibit was reviting to see. Yoko and Johns komonos were there, along with hand written lyrics and guitars.

it is said that the day after (12/9/1980) susanna called Vicky Peterson (after readind an ad) and after talking about this tragedy they decided to play together in what will become the Bangles.

I got to see that Black Rickenbacker of John's in 2007 at the Saitama Super Arena in the " John Lennon Museum " .. Yoko had loaned them it for a few years.

I remember listening at University to John Peel the night before and then waking up about 7.30 and switching on Radio One. Peel was still on, with DLT, on the breakfast show....WHY? Then I slowly gathered the facts before hearing it officially at the top of the hour news. I went down to breakfast but all the other students had no idea of his importance, every one a Genesis or Carpenters fan.
