What I love about Ramin's phantom is that at many times he doesn't actually touch Christine but is inches away from touching her. It somehow brings out more intensity and also at the same time you get the feels that he treats her like a treasure that's too precious that it might break

Sierra Boggess deserves a lot of credit in this scene! Without singing a single note or word, Sierra played her part perfectly complimenting Ramin's singing. She completely captured the trance state that Christine was in, fully mesmerized by the Phantom's singing. Bravo!

4:02 ''touch me, trust me...''
4:09 '' WHAT THE HELL WOMAN, DON'T TOUCH ME!!''

Ramin's performance has so much TEXTURE. Within a single line, he sounds romantic, desperate, terrified, vulnerable, you can cut the emotions with a knife. What a legend.

Does anyone notice his expression when Christine fainted out and he rushed over to catch her? "Oh sh-t" 😅😅😅😅 then he looked at her like "Awww cutie". Omg i swear i can die for his acting.

He's capturing how I envision the Phantom perfectly. A man shunned by society, trying to serenade this woman he has chosen, trying to appear brave and seductive whilst also being deathly afraid of her rejecting him because of his face.

You don’t realize it until you watch closely but this blocking is super complex. He barely touches her and she has to move accordingly without making it look choppy or mechanical. Her face has to convey exactly what he’s trying to tell her without losing focus which can be difficult when also trying to look dreamy and hypnotized. And then when he sings the big end of each line (ex. Let your spirit/soul...) her eyes are closed when he directs her movement, but she still moves exactly how he directs even though she can’t see what he’s doing.

Anyone else loving the fact that every musical has only two songs published for it, but people have been asking for Ramin's "Music Of The Night" so much, they had no choice but to post it?

Ramin is sensational! The way he delivers the Phantom's feelings is just wow - for example the sigh when Christine rests on his arm, the scare when she faints and then the short smile when he's holding her for the first time... Nobody has ever got so deep in the core of Phantom as he did, I'm truly amazed!

Finally! Sierra started crying right after Ramin sang "silently the senses abandon the defenses" You can see her tears at 1:15

4:08 I love how all the time he wants to touch her, but he's restraining himself to do so, until that moment when she tries to touch his mask and he grasp her wrist and immediatly realizes he just touched her! It's so subtle, but there so much meaning in that single moment!!

his "touch me, trust me" is so good and subtle but he delivers it so well. that little look he gives that you know its not even a sexual kind of way and its purely hope and that little "trust me" THAT PURE HOPE ON HIS FACE JESUS RAMIN

The insecurity, the seduction, the anger, the sadness, the vulnerability and the frustration can all be felt by Ramin’s interpretation. The best ive seen and ive been a fan of POTO my entire life.

Honestly, Ramin is the perfect Phantom, here are my reasons
1. He clearly puts vulnerability first. Nothing irritates me more than when a Phantom actor decides it's a bigger priority to be dark and mysterious opposed to being vulnerable- Ramin totally knew what he was doing there!
2. He has a clearness and purity to his voice that I feel the phantom would have. This goes for Sierra Boggess too. Both of these actors have a strong purity and slight hauntingness to their voice that makes them perfect for the roles. They dont have rich, deep voices like Carlotta's, but more pure and clear. To me, that's what I think a real angel would sound like.

Ramin captures the role of Phantom as no one does ... his emotions, his chemistry with Sierra, his hand movements, and of course - his voice! Chills all the way through, especially his and the final Thank you, Ramin!
