When we talk about climate change we usually talk about the need to reduce greenhouse gases. Each year in Metro Vancouver, 15 million tonnes of GHGs are released. But how do you measure greenhouse gasses? It turns out you don’t – they’re calculated. Here's how.

This is the best "in a nutshell" explanation of GHG inventories I've seen. Great job making a terribly complex and dry topic visual, engaging, and easy to understand.

How much water vapour is released at the same time?

Several incorrect statements made. 1. #1 greenhouse gas is, in fact, water vapor, not CO².
#2. Vehicle emissions depend on ALL vehicle having rhe same emissions, where in reality, emissions in the West, especially the US have dropped sharply. Though, China & India and the majority of the third world are exempt from the various treaties.
4. Historically climate change vision s normal function of Earth. We are coming out if an Ice Age and, most likely soon entering another. This has occurred several times over the past millions of years. Suggest reading other than current propaganda and read the real science of 100 yrs ago
