Wasn't sure this would work and didn't want to mess up my system, so spun up a windows sandbox, installed ollama for windows, installed python, pip installed openai, modified my paths to find stuff, tried your code with phi (1.6GB) took a while, but it works as good as phi can answer the question! Cool! Thanks!

I found anomaly between windows version and WSL linux version huge difference in GPU utilization
NVIDIA 3080ti
128GB RAM

Running WLS/Ubuntu 16fp mixtral model (or any other model in 16fp) my TPS is on linux is .35 but on windows is 1.64 avg
GPU wont kick in on linux with 31b, 70b or 16fp models but on windows version does utilize my GPU right away. Any thoughts?

Please note MY GPU does kick in on Linux with 7B models with 4q

After I installed and deployed Ollama locally, I found that it was using the CPU to compute, which was too slow. How can I set the computation to use the GPU?

can you make a tutorial about a teachable ai assistant that works on windows and uses this Ollama. I gave a"chat history[ ]" to content and thus it can remember, I know its not efficient . I know I should use a database like chromadb. and I know there is a thing called autogen teachable... but it would be perfect if you can gather this in a video.. thank you for all of your effords. you are awsome

Great video! will this also work on by replacing localhost with the IP address so another machine can access the remotely hosted LLM?

When you get merch, even from a print on demand, PLEASE make a shirt that says "this is amazing" with your face. cartoon face maybe. it's your trademark as far as I am concerned and it makes me feel warm every time I start one of your videos.

How to install the Ollama in another partition? Default is C but I want other.
Edit. I found solution. ollama_models variable should be set for this in the system

Still it is very slow. Slower than running it on wsl2 on windows. Hopefully they will fix these performance issues in this preview version.

your code absolutely makes no sense, you are calling MISTRAL LLM no LLAMA3

at 2:13 I see you /exit the terminal. I am wondering at the time, if the ollama server is still running after you '/exit' terminal.
If yes, how run 'python app.py' to get results from the model? Thanks
