I think Chris's blade is more like a slicer. I can already imagine Doug dancing around a ballistic dummy while slicing it to pieces 😂

I wish that weird curved blade had the handle closed in so that the force on the handle would go into the spine of the blade instead of having all that force on the curve. If he had closed it in I think he would have done really well.

Chris's blade was a fantasy blade. It can be seen in the movie "The Chronicles of Riddick". It is used by Vin Diesel's character Riddick during the fight on Cremoria.

One of the things I love about the contestants is when they admit 'I've never done this before...ever.' Every once in a while you hear 'Yeah...I like making (fill in the blank)' but even then, they admit that this will be a challenge. The humility is amazing.

meteorite and carbon meeting at the edge really sounds like a fantasy blade!

That curved blade lift awesome and it did some pretty good damage I think with a little bit of slightly redesigning it it could be a very devastating and strong weapon

That last blade looked like Riddick's ulaks from Pitch Black, just with a reverse grip.

That curved blade is missing a little detail : A connection between the pommel and the spine of the blade. Such a connection would have greatly helped maintain the integrity of the blade and handle.

I like how the 2nd guy wanted to make blades an alien would use and he literally made the blades sci-fi character Riddick uses. That's some coincidence.

The blade that broke was like Vin Diesel's knives in Chronicles Of Riddick

Would have been sick if the guard was connected to the back of the blade for stability

Doug is an entity and this show is a ruse to keep him contained.

Meteorite Vs. Curve Blade, is like The Chronicles of Riddick Vs. Sokka from Avatar The Last Airbender.

There is a history that swords made from meteorite were made as gifts because of their topicality, but meteorite is too soft to be suitable as a material for swords.

According to the rules of this competition, the correct answer would be to fold the material containing the meteorite as many times as time permits to make the material as uniform as possible, or to place the meteorite in the area where the stress is the weakest.
