On the left they are social democrats not democratic socialists. There is of course a big difference. Americans want a system that works the same as it does in the Netherlands, Germany, France England and Scandinavia. These are social democracies with rigorous capitalist economies.

9 - 11 Was The Definition Of A National Emergency. The Brave People In New York Need And Deserve Our Support. This Makes Trump's Fence " Emergency " Absolutely Ridiculous & Callous.

The people that were hurt because of 9/11 should be taken care of no question about it. When do the people of Flint, Michigan get the help they need to get safe water?

We should take care of first-responders and those victims exposed to the toxins of 9/11 for the rest of their lives. Unfortunately, for some those funds mean quality of life and many may not have that much time left. Is there no end to this cruelty and foolishness?

Extremely intelligent politician.. He seems less like a politician and more like a man with a plan and knows what he's talking about!

Agreed. It would be "political suicide" to not give these HEROS peace of mind.
It is a shame to see politicians so wrapped up in FUNDRAISING that they lose their sense of right and wrong.

Imagine what we could accomplish if elected officials NEVER had to worry about fundraising again...🤔

Its becoming more and more offensive how about government push to get their mind around their own priorities instead these things that the country really needs ... People are getting really tired ... I like this guy, he is honest you can tell.

FDR'S platform was for an economic bill of rights and that's still where Democrats stand. This tactic of 'socialism' was used by Reagan, Romney and Palin.

I am all for victims compensation, but it should be for all who suffer from violence, not just the 911 people. The sole sufferer out in the Great Plains hurts no less than the many who hurt from just one incidence.

This should be the face the Democrats are putting forward not AOC and her far left approach. You have to put a reasonable, veteran with down to earth ideas for the everyday men and women. He may just be a presidential candidate in the near future.

All public expenditures should have to justify their existence and be reviewed on a periodic basis.

The question should be about why Veterans and victims of the 9-11 cleanup is "Why has your Democratic Party failed miserably fighting for 18 years to provide the complete services needed by these people?" TrueDemocracyNow.org
