Ctrl-C then v also does this. Mainly posting it to have an excuse to also thank you for the rest of the quick tips. I've used Inventor for years, so I know some of them, but the ones I don't will save me some time and annoyance. Cheers!

how to copy and paste in same location at graphic window, for example if we press ctrl+c and ctrl+v in catia, the parts will come at same place

but how do you duplicate a part and maintain some, if not all its existing constraints?

for example, using your model, if I wanted two blocks on the top, what's the quickest way to duplicate it and maintain two of the three existing constraints

I'm new to AI, in solid edge there's a move cmd with a copy option
