Building a DIY tiny home studio has been a dream on my DIY to do list! I wanted to build tiny home that I can transform into a studio space to makeover! I have big plants for this studio space! In this series will show you how to build tiny home build and give you a lot of tips & tricks to accomplishing your own build. This women building project will be my practice for my next big project building a tiny home off grid! I have so many bunkie build, shed build, & tiny home building ideas to come!

Home Hardware has backyard project packages that range from garages and sheds to decks and fences! The plans are free with purchase of materials. Packages are not pre cut as cutting and assembly is required.

What an amazing job you did. I like when you said only yourself can stop your dreams. I am so guilty of that. Was always told by my mom and sister what a idiot I was. My dad was the one who believed in me. Then I married and he was just like my mom and sister. Everything I said was wrong. When I went to college he thought it was a waste of time. But he was wrong I was on the deans list, after he passed a month after I started my last classes. Only problem was the money was tied up and I couldn’t pay for the fall and spring semesters. The college gave me the money for all my expenses and I didn’t have to pay back. I was honored with 3 other ladies as the best of the Early Childhood Program. I continued working and became the assistant director of a large center with around 125 kids enrolled. Then was hired by another center for the summer and another for my last 3 years before retiring. All because I believed in what I was doing. To bad it didn’t transfer into my home life. But watching you I have done a few things that I couldn’t have done before. Can’t wait to see the interior of your she shed.

I've done two small builds myself, one woman build. It's such an amazing feeling to look at what we have created. My saying has always been " I Love being a Woman who can"!

I too was a misfit, and after a career in oncology, became a woodcarver and have a woodworking shop. I am in the planning stages for my she shed as a 70 th birthday present to myself. The first tree house, with the tree running through the house, was great for my 3boys, (complete with skylight, trap door, stained glass, electrical outlet, veranda, glass and screen windows and door into the wall furniture) but due to age, had to be taken down, except for saving the sunken posts support. You have given me the kick to seriously get planning. Nicely done! Thank you.
