How Good Is Chasca ACTUALLY...?

Chasca has been out for a couple of days now, so I thought it'd be cool to evaluate how good she is with my more fleshed-out thoughts & feelings!

Chasca lowkey is the most fun character in the game

Chasca is one of the best chars to get for a new player since she requires such less investment and skill to pilot her, you can clear abyss with just bennet ororon barbara and her as a new player and you can simply ignore all mechanics of the bosses since you just fly above them .
also she has the best constalations for whales since the fastest clear time abyss floor 12 is held by chaska currently (she needs no setups and can oneshot each wave one by one)

as f2p player i already 36* the abyss, i had enough dps, but chasca is absolutely needed, it save u so much time on map exploration, especially on natlan

I think she is super fun to play. I realize she is niche and kinda wonky but I love her style and she can hit hard in the right circumstances. One of my new favorite overworld units. Also I have Shenhe and she is happy to be getting some attention.

She has now become an easy favourite. She's the easiest slap on dps unit ever and I dont have to worry about different element enemies. Ive become so overly reliant on her exploration gimmick and its been more good news knowing that Mauvika is not going to outpace her aerial exploration. Also she's "tanky" in the sense i dont have to worry about getting hit most of the time as well. With all of this utility combined i honestly think not being that good in AOE is an easy tradeoff.

I feel like people really downplay chasca's damage even at C0. Like the only criticism i have is that aside from Bennett, furina, ororon there are no other teams that deal quite as much damage. However with her bis team her damage in single target is competetitive with my top 2% mualani. Even at C1 her team comps are varied but her bis team stays the same. Like if youre willing to use her bis team she's def top 3 single target damage dealers in the game. Also i feel like people really like to overhype C0 kinnich. His team damage without emilie is kinda ass due to you not being to get the max number of gun shots off while staying inside bennett circle. In multi target situations he might be slightly better but i would put chasca over kinnich at least

She's a very solid DPS, but she has several insane benefits that are majorly overlooked here. 1. Overworld exploration is the best by far, especially if you combine her with Xilonen for more vertical mobility and Kazuha or another Anemo so that she moves faster. 2. Ease of play is through the roof. You don't really have to aim with her as all her bullets auto lock. You can't friggin miss! 3. Kazuha is so much better than Sucrose because he dodges attacks so easily with his E. Xiao and Wanderer are even better. Chasca is on a whole other level! Especially in Natlan. Ground based attacks just cannot touch her! There are many enemies that can just sit there and die. No shield required. 4. She's still a top-tier single target DPS in the meta with all those other benefits. Being squishy and dying, requiring a shield, getting knocked out of your charge attack, or being ER% Burst locked can all be major DPS hits unless you get perfect rotations. Chasca makes those rotations much easier to not mess up consistently. Huge benefit.

Surprised you didn't mention that Citlali looks like she is made to be Chasca's best support and might boost her.

Ngl I was one of the first to complain about her big gun but turns out she became a favorite. Her gameplay is satisfying and the "Rainbow" concept of her team comps gave new light to my Shenhe, couldnt ask for more. 🙏

When her kit dropped I dismissed her but when I played her I decided to c2 her. She is just fun. Kinich and mualani were janky for me Archon just doesn’t grab me and while I love my arle still I’m tired of another pyro dps . Even if in the end it ends up not being the best meta pick chasca is fun and that’s all that matters

For those without Furina: idk why no one recommends her but Mona does very decent in this team. The omen buff lasts long enough to dps with

Only vid where i've seen her not being S, u bugging with the A- since she can clear while takign 0 dmg and using Ororon after Benny before Chasca u make some questionable plays. Also great inventment in Xiao u have to build a team around him prob with sig, how can u judge when u didn't compare the two?

Not relevant for most players, but her C6R1 performance completely outclasses every other DPS we have, and the gap isn't even close.

She is very comfy in the overworld. She kills mobs without any setup and flys higher as the enemys can attack. Love it.
