#RiDaysEU 2022 | Lump sums and unit costs: same funding, less red tape

The R&I framework programme has become much simpler over the years. The Funding & Tenders Portal, the fully electronic management of grants, and a single set of rules were milestones on this path.

The next milestone will be simplified forms of funding, especially lump sums and unit costs. They remove the need to report actual costs, which remains complex and error-prone. This is why Horizon Europe will use more and more simplified forms of funding.

This workshop will provide the state of play of lump sums and unit costs, and discuss their roll-out in Horizon Europe.
