Momma of 4 here; Advice, you won't get your actual milk supply until a few days after. They get the liquid gold at first aka colostrum. You definitely won't need the pump but of course completely up to you ❤❤. No judgement at all ❤. Disposable diapers from Frieda are amazing!!! The peri bottle from Frieda mom is amazing. Also just the whole Frieda mom vaginal after care must have! The cooling sensation from the pads is phenomenal. You absolutely won't need any of the hair tools other than a brush BUT once again up to you 🤗. They supply everything you need for baby take her blanket, swaddle and outfit for pics ❤❤. But diapers and wipes are not needed at all. And you get to take all the diapers and wipes in y'all's room 😊

Congratulations silent follower here. Not a mom, but I’ve heard people suggest to bring a document folder to put all the documents you get at the hospital. That way it’s all in one spot. You can focus on baby and not be worried about losing important paperwork. Congrats again!

3rd time mama pregnant with our 3rd and I think you did an awesome job packing! Even with this being my 3rd time I’m bringing almost all the same stuff bc I like to have options and honestly you never know what kind of baby your baby will be! 1 thing I will say is you will definitely do alot of skin to skin with baby so when you were saying you don’t know what to expect as far as dressing her just expect lots of skin to skin and bringing your breast pump is great for a first time mom bc they can teach you have to use it and also make sure the flange fits your nips perfectly lol but other than that the hospital will provide all your healing essentials like demaplast, tucks pads etc and then you’ll want those at home as well so you’re double stocked even though you can bring everything from the hospital home! So excited for you guys🩷🩷🩷

As a mama to 5 I didn’t really take much when I went to the hospital with 4 of them and my 5th I had at home. One thing I will tell you is that if you wanna take it then take it ❤ there is nothing wrong with having extra. In worlds of my father inlaw “ I would rather be looking at it then for it “ ❤❤

Highly recommend bringing an extra long charger for both of you! Also, and a L&D nurse, I typically advise against wearing your own gown for labor because 1. It’s going to get suuuuper dirty during delivery and then your stuck putting that in your bag for 2-3 days before you take it home to wash 😬 and 2. IF you were to need an emergency c-section for some reason, the metal buttons are a burn risk due to the instruments we use in the OR, and getting that gown off is just one more step to complete in an emergency situation that adds time to us getting your baby out safely and quickly! 🥰

If you’re having a natural birth, I definitely recommend dermoplast, ice pads, and tucks witch hazel pads!

Mama of 2! Bring all the things if it helps you feel the peace you need going into this moment. I recommend bringing a folder of some sort to put all documents in to keep them safe and all in one place, socks, hats, baby mittens because they will want to be as warm as possible! Also, something that I didn’t know my first time but is quality info is to be careful wearing anything scented because baby girl can be sensitive to the scents & also didn’t know that babies can be allergic to flowers so I asked everyone to wait to send any floral arrangements lol congratulations & good luck!

Cotton mittens for baby girl’s sweet little hands. A comfy pillow and soft blanket/ dressing gown from home for yourself. Oftentimes mums in labour can get the shivers and it’s great if you have something soft to wrap yourself up in. It makes you feel comforted too ❤❤❤❤

Loose dollars and change for vending machines. A few diapers in her bag for trip home. If not doing any type of nurses gifts (totally normal and fine) but have heard pack a blank set of thank you cards. That a simple handwritten note goes along way. A “wet” bag for your dirty laundry.

Cards to hand write to your nurses go a long way for them ❤

First time mama here! I had my baby boy in August! Some things I wish I packed was my own swaddles! Hospital swaddles are not great and they don’t stay wrapped & snuggly! Also onesies or gowns with hand covers! I didn’t pack any for my son and it was awful because I was so worried about him scratching his face! For myself I loved having my pregnancy pillow and also dry shampoo for a quick way to freshen up!!🩵 Praying for you all!!!

I preferred depend diapers over pads the first two weeks pp. you will want some for the hospital so much easier then using pads especially when you are sore. I was absolutely so glad I packed them!

I’ll only give one tidbit of advice, which I learned the hard way the first time. If you can hold off on using any bottles or pacifiers the first few weeks, it could help her nursing incredibly. My oldest decided she didn’t want to nurse after being given a bottle because the bottle was easier, so we changed it up the second time and didn’t have that issue. I pray for you all the best! 🥰😘

Hey Sophia
I'm a mom of 2 pretty girlies. You're doing an amazing job of making sure you are prepared. It's so precious to watch you and Taylor prepare. It brings back such sweet memories to me. The only thing that I can think of that you may need is a pillow or something soft to sit on for the ride home. You'll more than likely not need a second one, but in the event that there is a c section, a second pillow for your tummy so the seat belt isn't up again at you. Those things can stay in the car until the drive home, but it sure does help. I had both of my girls by c section. Obviously natural is good, but I just want you to know that if a c section needs to happen it's not as scary as you probably think. Just give yourself grace no matter what and remember to allow yourself to be cared for as well. Don't try to be a super woman. Take things slow and easy. Grace is a must for all moms and dads of every stage. Y'all have got this!!! God's hand is on the both of you and baby girl.💕💖💝💕💖💝💕💖💝💕💖💝💕💖💝

I am currently 21 and just had my first baby! I just wanted to say that you should bring anything that make you comfortable! I think you pack everything you will need! If I have any advice it would just to relax and enjoy the moment as much as possible because it will go by so fast! Also don’t be afraid to ask questions about delivery or the baby! That is what they are there for! It is the most magical moment of your life! I already know the Spirit of God will flood that room and it’s going to be a peaceful delivery. Every baby is a blessing and this is God way of blessing us!

Hii! Momma of two! One thing that someone else told me to bring & was really helpful was some coconut oil. The baby’s first poos actually harden & can harden on their butt, when wiping it can hurt their little bums. If you put some coconut oil on their butts, the poop doesn’t harden on them & is easy to wipe off. I know it’s gross but it just made me feel so much better because my babies were more comfortable!! 10/10 recommend. Good luck! You got this!

Also, the nail file is great to have. My baby came out with longer nails & the hospital refused to cut them because it’s a liability so I was stressed the whole time I was there with him cutting his face!

You may want to bring a set of headphones or a speaker to listen to some Christian music and or claming music 🎶 and I am a scent person so I would bring a room or pillow spray and or Essential oils to make it feel more like home. Maybe even start spraying it at home before you get to the hospital. So you get used to it and it's calming.❤ love you guys soooo much you are going to do great x lo e for Australia 🇦🇺

I used a hand pump the second time and the hospital gave it to me. First baby I breast fed at the hospital. You definitely won't be thinking about fixing your hair and makeup. You won't want to get up at all. You will be soaking in all the loves. Shower definitely feels great the next day!! The Freida postpartum care kit is a must!! Those popsicles for your undies are Lifesavers!! Also dermaplast if you have her vaginally!!

Gosh, I'm 64 what good advice could I give in today's time. I say take the things you love. It's always nice to have them. I found in my time the hospital gowns came in really handy the first day or 2 so you don't mess up your clothes. Sorry no easy way to say it. There are alot more luxuries today so having extra in case items can certainly be a plus. Congratulations and best wishes on the soon coming of your little bundle.

Looks great! Definitely the fan and the white noise were the 2 things I wish I had with my first. During labor you can get hot flashes and the fan is 10/10. We had to pull up YouTube videos of white noise on our phones and it helped a TON.

You won’t stop staring at baby but try to get some rest. Also don’t stress about milk production in the hospital just latch and your body will do the rest ♥️. You got this!!
