NordVPN connection problems captured

I don't like to bash products and services - especially one's previously recommended - but NordVPN will need to get it's act together if they want my continued business after my three month subscription is up. Connection problems are more frequent now occurring approximately two to three times per week, and this video capture was possible because the problem was repeatable. Notice that when I maximize the Nord app it already shows the connection failed dialog from the previous attempt.

Yes I realize that TCP connections are a bit more difficult and slower than UDP but that is the type of handshaking and reliability I want. If Nord can't provide it reliably then don't provide it at all. Could be growing pains, their server selection has grown from about 300-400 to almost 1,000 since I became a member but this is not the only problem I've noticed. For the first two weeks the service was very stable then I started noticing hiccups, it couldn't authenticate my credentials, increasingly unstable connections, and if you use a platform like MetaTrader 4 forget having a reliable connection while Nord is running.

For those having connection issues with #NordVPN try the following which was posted by Techlore on another thread;

"- Disable Cybersec (Biggest thing). Apparently there are a lot of issues right now with cybersec since it's a new feature and they are trying to fix all the kinks.
- Make sure you are using UDP, not TCP.
- Obfuscation disabled.
- Uninstall NordVPN completely and reinstall it, sometimes the OpenVPN driver doesn't install properly for whatever reason.
- Make sure there are no other VPNs on your computer installed.
- Try different servers and stick with the same server for a while. Don't use the automatic mode. Personally for me, I have no issues whatsoever when I'm using US server #110. If you stick with a specific server and you experience issues, try using another server for a while and seeing if that one is better."

is there a way to install NordVPN without security update KB3033929 ?
I can use IPvanish on my PC without any issue. I tried installing NordVPN but it wants
me to install the KB3033929. I said no, I get an error message then it continues with the install. When I try and connect to the server I get a not connected message. A friend who also has IPvanish did the install, let it install the KB3033929 security update and it installed and works. I don't want the KB3033929 installed on my latop and want to know if there is away to have NordVPN work without it. I was ready to cancel IPvanish due to the renewal price and give NordVPN but looks like unless I can get it to work I will stick with IPvanish.

A chat format is really all they have for customer support which I brought to their attention, but the chat agent is just that, only a chat agent, who doesn't effect policy in any meaningful way other than passing on customer feedback which is often mixed with emotional components not conducive to full resolution of the issues. In addition to that, the agents seem to be involved in multiple conflict resolution situations at once which compound the problems with large gaps between communication with the current customer. It's a full on monkey f**k if you involve tech novices like me, the inherent bugs present, and other conflicts across their customer base. The business model doesn't seem to have been fleshed out properly before it can sufficiently meet the needs of it's varied clients. It's almost like introducing a new model car without all the spark plugs installed. It might start, but won't run smoothly. I don't criticize with malice in my heart, but positive expectations are fueled by the promises of the website but disappointed in reality.

I cannot get NordVPN to work. It worked about twice since I bought it. Also, my internet connection speed drops by 50% when it actually does work...very disappointed. I wonder if they do a refund?
