Due to their slow flash pattern, first-generation LED Exceders cannot be mixed with their newer LED3 replacements, nor can they be mixed with any syncable Wheelock xenon strobes. However, LED3 strobes and syncable xenon strobes can be mixed.

The voice evac at my school does the two stage. It play the slow whoop tone and message three times, and after that, it play the slow whoop tone that lasts longer. Btw, my school uses a simplex 4100U
