It's funny that despite Clark and Ellen's annoyance with Eddie, all the chaos was a result of Bethany and Lewis. Bringing the cat which caused this, burning the tree which caused Clark to basically lose it not to mention all the smoke damage and ripping off curtains, etc.

I honestly love this movie and this scene. I also love cats but I'm highly allergic to them. My aunt and uncle have two cats and one time one of them came up to me and rubbed against me when I didn't even realize. Then when I got home I looked my arms, chest, and face I was really red and my hands were becoming swollen. Because I obviously had to touch my pants then my face. I had to be rushed to the doctor when they were about to close the office.
