A Walk through the KANNUR Lighthouse, Sounds of Ocean

Walking through an extremely well maintained lighthouse; Kannur Lighthouse also known as Cannonore Lighthouse. You have to climb total 108 steps to reach the top of the Kannur lighthouse. The last 7 steps are in a metal ladder constructed as 90 degree straight steps. The view from the lighthouse is very beautiful, evening is the best time to visit this place and climb to the top of the lighthouse tower.

The area of Kannur lighthouse is very small, you can enjoy the beauty of Arabian Sea and surrounding of Kannur town from the top of the lighthouse tower. The Payyambalam Sea Pathway and Kannur Lighthouse are situated at the same area, so you can enjoy both locations. You have to pay entry fee separately for both locations.
