AUDA-NEPAD and JICA Ogata Research Institute Joint Book Launch Webinar (Session 1)

JICA Ogata Research Institute and Africa Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD) Policy Bridge Tank jointly organized two book launch webinars on the theme of industrial development.

Session 1 of the webinar series shared the research findings from the book “Policy Learning for Industrial Development and the Role of Development Cooperation.” This volume contemplates Japanese development experiences that developi ng country’s policy makers can refer to when forming and implementing industr ial policies. The book also introduces development policy support, a type of J apanese intellectual cooperation aimed at providing hands-on policy advice and promoting the learning process of partner countries through joint work. In th is webinar, authors of the book chapters presented their work and exchanged th oughts with AUDA-NEPAD discussants.
