“Ozzy and Sharon didn’t let him use the songs Ozzy and Randy created.” You mean the music Randy and Bob Daisley created. 🤘

I grew up lovin' Ozzy. I still love the music, but the more that comes out about Sharon and Ozzy's business ethics, the less and less respect I have for Ozzy and Sharon. They've screwed over so many people and fellow musicians on their way up the ladder that it seems like too high a price to pay to get recognition and money.

You hurt my ears when you said (the music Rhoads & Osbourne created together). We all know those songs were created mostly by Randy & Bob Daisley with Ozzy & Lee Kerslake to a lesser extent. Please don't ever say Ozzy as though he really had a major part in creating ever again. There's been 40 years of lie's already told to us about that as it is.I don't agree with the directors or Trunks assessment of Eddies & Randy's personality's. Eddie turned his back sometimes when doing something new & for good reason. Guitarist all steal techniques from each other & Randy was a showman. He wasn't trying to teach the audience how to play his stuff although he didn't mind.

It's a shame that he went so young. The world was robbed of something very special

Ozzy and Sharon would have been homeless if it weren't for Randy Rhoads, Bob Daisley and Lee Kerslake....Ozzy wrote one or 2 lines of lyrics between both albums and he ripped those off from someone else...they ripped them all off, just like they did to Jake E Lee.

As someone who knew Randy well and saw him twice a week when we had time. I took lessons at his house so he could get away with only charging me 5 bucks. That was We’d. On Thursdays we would meet at Musonia and walk across Lauren Canyon to a Mexican place that Randy loved. He talked about Eddie once that I remember and I had to ask him about it. He said yeah everybody says he’s great but it has nothing to do with me. H
Randy didn’t give a shit except that V.H. Got signed. Randy started playing at 7 years old and believed that you learned the guitar for the sake of the guitar. He cared nothing about Eddie. 2 totally different people. I know, I asked him.

I met Kelle Rhoads 12 years mention how nice it was that the Osbournes still keep the spirit of Randy alive( This was before I knew) he gave me a look and said that the Osbournes only do things when money is involved.

Is there any interview's or input from Bob Daisley?? There's the man with the most reliable information about anything during the Rhoads era. Still want to hear the stuff he has taped from then. Until sharon is gone that won't happen at all.

A lot of "Ozzy" is a façade. Real fans know. I really wish Ozzy had packed it up 20 years ago and let me keep my memories.

I'm glad this guy did this. Great job.

Ozzy and Sharon are terrible. They've screwed over more musicians that have helped them, than Don Arden. Ozzy says he loves Randy but he can't even honor his legacy by doing a favor for a documentary about the man's life. The movie was great, by the way.

A rivalry? I seriously doubt it. Edward just did his thing and didn't really care about anyone else. VHI was record in Sept/Oct 77 and then Edward was on the road in late 77/early 78 as an artist w/VHI being released in Feb 78. Randy did his thing but had no record deal until he auditions with Ozzy on Sept/Oct 79. VHII was already been released by that time. The timelines don’t even match up. I think it's a manufactured rivalry to add a little tension to the legend.

Way long over due. We have been waiting for something like this for 40 years. Thanks to the people involved in making this documentary.

Thank you for making that documentary I have been waiting for 40 years to see this… I was in music lessons learning every thing Randy Rhoads had done on blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a madman from my guitar teacher when Randy died I was just a 13 year old teenage kid I loved him I idolized him he was the sole reason that I play guitar and am a music teacher/guitar teacher

maybe a friendly rivalry.. stop pitting them against each other.. (you sound like a leftie), , both great .. different flavors.. the world was lucky to have them.. RIP to Ed and Randy...

Randy will always be my favorite guitarist. He was unique and his approach was very different from his peers.

@BACKSTAGE PASS Rock News hey Eddie how come you've never talked with Michael Anthony about RR or the Bands rivalry? He would be a good one to ask! Cheers

The reason for Osbourne's lack of participation is obvious: Everyone knows that by the time Diary was recorded Ozzy was treating Randy like shit. Randy had already made it clear he was leaving the band at the end of the Diary tour. But then he dies in a tragic plane accident and suddenly Ozzy wants the world to believe they were "brothers" and that Ozzy deeply loved him and mourned his loss. The Osbourne's want total control over the false narrative.

Hopefully Relis is telling the true and full story in this doc. You can be sure that if Randy hadn't become an instant, beloved legend due to his early death and were Randy still living today, Ozzy would be acting as if he barely existed - the way Ozzy does with Jake E Lee.

I've seen the Sobel doc and based on all I've read, EVH band was much better than QR. Randy was of course a prodigy, but the rest of the band was just ok, and of course the songs just wasn't on par. I mean QR sucked compared to VH at that time. you had Randy and the rest of the gang, but with Eddie the VH band was kick ass and the songs were way superior..

6:44 They actually spelled Randy's name wrong on that plaque? That's ridiculous.
