Perfect example why not enabling Hard mode is a valid choice; in Hard mode you risk it becoming a boring random guessing game

I dont play wordle but once you had your first guess, could you then have guessed a word like, I don't know, 'FLING' this would have then told you instantly that the answer contained an N but not an F or an L, meaning that you would have known the answer in 3 guesses, or will the game not let you do that?
