So here is a query that’s bothered me: as a marine Electro-Technical Officer — ETO — I have to wonder how, if incorporating resistors, the BSI / BCM determines a lamp failure(?). With the resistance remaining paralleled with the line voltage, and if the LED module fails, then will the BSI ‘see’ the minuscule current disappear and, thus, give the *required* hyperflash? Or, in the case of some Mercedes & BMW cars, when a bulb-out is detected, hand over the turn signal job to a front fog light or a reversing light?

3:10 Could you give a little more detail about only having to change the relay? I have an obs Ford truck and those resistors melt plastic. Can I just replace the relay that will accommodate an led tail and turn signal?

I have no luck with LED brake lights on my car. I have tried both with and without strobing. The strobing ones, when I turn on the headlights, the strobe pattern goes once and then never reset. And the LED will not have two intensity mode, like how the light glow brighter when you step on the brake pedal when driving at night. Any solution to that?

Iv been having this problem and im not sure when it started exactly iv had custom headlights with projectors and now led lighting with switchback halos as well I have led in my tail lights . Everything seems to work fine until I turn on either my parking lights or my headlights . Suddenly my halos won't operate correctly they kind of have both white and amber lit all messed up so I disconnected them for the time being. But still after the p lights are on my turn signals hyperflash. I have resistors on the tail lights. My front turn signal lights are stock. What is causing this hyperflash? I used a multimeter and my turn signals get a constant 10w load after I turn on the p lights and head lights what is causing this voltage leak. Please help me its been a while without my halos and I want it all to work correctly. I drive a 2010 jeep commander
