Exploring the Greek town of Grevena (#019)

We planned to leave Zitsa on Friday… but somehow, it's now Tuesday. After overstaying our welcome (as always), we finally set off to hitchhike to Grevena. Spoiler: Greece is not the best place for hitchhiking. After hours of waiting and a solid 6km walk, we gave up and took the bus.
Once in Grevena, we explored its "famous" Mushroom Park (which has neither real mushrooms nor statues, just weird graffiti and a wooden Florian doppelgänger). Then, we visited some old churches, climbed a massive hill for a locked gate, and blamed Florian for all of life’s misfortunes.
Our host, Hercules (yes, really), took us deep into the mountains, where we visited the stunning Bridge of Aziz Aga and a tiny village called Spilaio. The trip ended with incredible Greek food, Florian’s failed cliff-jumping ambitions, and me proving that I have the best face for wood carvings.
