The plaid S took a lot of tech that could’ve been in the roadster so that’s the discount version so now the roadster has to step it up even more and almost achieve something that barring a leapfrog in battery tech would be insane to achieve especially now that Rimac and lucid have their cars in the street.

Kinda missing the Covid shortage that put them behind and the goal was to push Tesla semi out to free up funds. I work at Tesla, heard talks that the semi truck will push the company forward due to sheer sales freeing up development cost and pushing out small number of speciality cars that won’t bring in gains.
