Hey everyone! I imagine that many of you will have already heard this story. This was actually the first story I covered and have since taken down that video. It was easily the worst quality video on my channel and it had been bothering me to have not done the story proper justice. For this remake, I rewrote the script and redid the video as narration only. Hopefully, you enjoy this video in the meantime as I work on the next video with entirely new content. honestly everytime a cave is discovered it should be completely filled with cement so people dont even have the chance to get in. the satisfaction from successfully exploring a cave cannot be better than the risk of dying a horrible horrible death

As a former fireman, these situations are so hard. To know they were that close to getting him out, making eye contact, seeing him smile, speaking with him, just to have him die in the end, it's haunting as a rescuer.

How brave he must have been to stay calm down there. He probably just passed out at some point and went off in peace.

Unbeknownst to him he was probably the sacrificial lamb for many more lives that would of been taken in that hole if it wasn’t sealed off for good. RIP.

This might be seriously one of the most frightening ways to die, basically you can't be helped, you can't move, you can't see, and you die slowly. That is seriously terrifying.

i think the worst part about this is him being able to smile and have that hope of “yes! im getting out!” only for the pully to break and be shoved back down FURTHER, i cant imagine how terrified he was

Ill never understand. I watch these, sitting in my chair. At a desk in a nice open place. 0.0% chance of the cave hurting me. I sit and sweat. Anxiety goes wild. Feel like Im stuck right beside someone in yhese and places.

@7:08 I've yet to see anyone explain this. He must have been all the way out. How did he just slide over the lip of rock again? Doesn't it require effort to inch through? Isn't that a lot of why he got stuck? Man that must have been frustrating and they shouldn't have had 2 pully systems, So they could in effect wiggle him. Or at least a second rope tied on
