If no one knows the meaning of this song it's basically her explaining her battle with Lyme Disease and being bedridden fighting to survive and she fell into depression cause she couldn't do anything

"I'm too young to fall asleep" I'm too young to die. She wasn't sure if she was gonna die or survive (she got bitten by a tick in 2015 and got Lyme disease) so she released Head Above Water to explain how hard her battle was

This is the first time I've listened to this song after making my peace with God and finally accepting that he is there and cares and my God this hit different. Life has been so hard for so long, my nervous system is shot all the way through, but I have to just keep going and fighting and holding myself together, because I'm the only one who can carry my family through, the only one who can do it. So many of these songs just hit home so hard at this point in my life. Whether she was speaking to God or not, my heart is, I can't do it alone.

The first time I heard this song I was starting to deal with chornic illness as well as complications caused by thyroid cancer. This really saved me at a time I felt hopeless. I am hoping my last scan comes back with no further complications and I can say I'm in remission for good.
