My brother is 22 months younger than me. They had him tested because he didn't talk. The diagnosis was me - the older sister. I spoke for him so he didn't need to. When he did, he was talking in full sentences. It is 38 years later and I still try to take care of him. Big sisters be like that.

In re Zade's speech, my son didn't talk until 3 but he spoke in full sentences when he started. He was an observer and took everything in until he could speak well. You guys are the best!!

Carlin, I enjoy your YouTube channel and your sister Erin’s as well. Just to let you know, I am a Christian living in South Florida and I have struggled many times with finding the time to read God’s word. When your sister Erin and her husband created their website “Chad & Erin weekly devotionals, ” it has encouraged me to spend more time talking to Jesus/ God our Savior and King. Well in case you are interested, regarding the bank accounts, we both work (very similar salaries) and have separate accounts but also a joined one where we both put the same amount each month. With this account we pay most things: rent, bills, car, groceries, eating out, clean lady, home repairs & appliances... We use the personal one for gifts (to each other but also I pay for my family's gifts, he pays for his. This way I don't feel bad if I want to spend more on my niece than what he would like for his, for example). Also if i go on a girls trip, or want to buy something for myself (clothes, hairdresser, a new phone) I pay that from my account. This felt the good for both of us, so we don't feel bad for spending money on things that are not necessities.

I used to be excited to watch someone else’s videos but then they started acting instead of being natural. This made me stop responding to their videos. Enjoyed this video. You both are so cute together. Your kids are adorable. I did want to let you know something I learned years ago and it still holds true. You can have ferns and birds nesting inside, and still water your ferns. Spray gently on the inside of the basket. Do it everyday, if your plants need watering. The birds will be fine, the mother will be fine. Remember, nests in trees and bushes get rained on. So take care of your ferns, mama bird will take care of her babies. Maybe that's one reason they chose to nest there, for the water. Enjoy Fathers Day and your upcoming July 4th trip to the farm. Love and Blessings for your family. ❤

(Sounds like your parents maybe dispersed/saved the money a little more fairly to the “kids” on the show vs your friends’ family- where there seems to be a little more hard feelings regarding tv show payment sadly. P.p.s. We have separate accts. We were a little older when we coupled up and had separate accounts and houses already. It was easier to keep it separate. I wouldn’t care if it was joint at this point. But the nice part is we can surprise each other with a purchase and also not micro manage on little expenses that we might differ on. It works for us. I see both sides & it’s great if two ppl can agree on whichever way and finances aren’t a typical problem.

We just celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary on the 12th and we have always had separate checking accounts. We don't even bank at the same bank, as long as all the bills get paid we are good.
