10-50 Rollover: 6-13-20

At approx.1:40 PM today, Carbondale Fire Department responded to the intersection of Giant City Rd. and Main Street Frontage Rd. S. for a three vehicle accident. Upon arrival, a SUV was found to be on it's side, resting on a Prius. The driver of the SUV had to be extericiated through the windshield and was transported to the hospital. At least 1 other person in the accident was injured. Carbondale Fire Department, Jackson Co. Ambulance, and Carbondale Police all responded to the accident. It took around 45 mins. to reopen Giant City Rd.
