Just could not justify the 12k difference in 3 vs y… I ordered the 3 for $42, 990 and after state rebate $4, 000 and federal tax credit of $7, 500 I got it for $33, 000 and no tax in NJ

Quick correction. You mentioned that the model 3 comes with dual motors in all variants, the standard range one is rear wheel drive and single motor, just to clarify for anyone that may have believed that statement as fact in your video.

Model 3 can come with a Tow Hitch as well in certain countries (straight from US factory). That was our main reason for picking the 3 in 2019 vs few other EV's available at that time.

I currently drive a Chevy Trax and am looking at getting a Tesla in the hopefully not too distant future. The model Y is very similar and size and shape to the Trax, and for me, long range and cargo space is a big factor for me, and I also don't care too much about top speed.

So even though the Model 3 is cheaper, I'm still leaning towards the Model Y. Great video btw.

If you dont need the space get a Model 3. Model 3 is sooo much fun to drive. The Model Y is a “work horse”.
I own both and I drive the Model 3 because I want to and the Model Y because I have to.

If you need the extra space get the Y, if you don’t then get the 3? Other than that they are both the exact same though the M3P is faster than the MYP
