Logitech G435 headset review and tips on how to connect the G435

An astounded Provoked Prawn here, telling you that the affordable Logitech G435 is surprisingly good - assuming you can get it to work.

This is a review of the Logitech G435, in the off-white and liliac colourway (other colours are available. Stick around to the end for the mic sound test.

The Logitech G435 is a dual connectivity headset that offers both wireless and Bluetooth connection options - just not at the same time. It's insanely lightweight, has a funky design, really good sound considering the price and nicely shaped earcups that make it delightfully comfortable too.

I just bought G435 and I was having the same connectivity issue. Finally got it fixed by doing the following:
1. Shut down headphones
2. Insert the dongle
3. Press power button for 2 sec( green light will blink)
4. Press power + mute for Bluetooth pairing mode(blue led will blink)
5. Hold mute button to connect to dongle( led will turn cyan)

To go back to Bluetooth mode again power + mute

The mic on it is surprisingly decent for the price and the fact that it's wireless, but it picks up EVERYTHING! So I suggest using something called RTX Voice (Nvidia Broadcast) if you have an nvidia graphics card. It works with older 10-series GTX cards as well with some tinkering. It's an amazing piece of software that filters out everything but your voice. =)

Thanks for the review! I came very close to getting this, but opted for an HS80 for my needs, prioritizing comfort and computer use, but this looks like a great budget buy for someone who wants to switch between computer and phone.

I bought these a couple of weeks ago here in Aus. 199 down to 100 clearance sale. Previously owned a basic pair of turtle beaches which i liked and these are my first pair of wireless. So far super happy with them. Comfy. great sound. Easy to use, i switch between pc and ps5. Mic is good too. As always time will be the ultimate test.

I'm loving mine. Plug and play. Super comfy. No fancy / confusing features. Just put them on and enjoy. However over priced in Australia $199aus, £107 or $144 US.

I just bought one of these last week to replace my 9+ year old G35 which broke a couple of weeks ago and they arrived this morning.

I'm missing the integration with Logitech's Gaming Software that my G35 had as I was able to bind one of my Logitech G502 mouse buttons to the mute mic button of the old G35 which was really handy for meetings since I'm working from home. I'm just going to have to get used to muting the mic using the button on the headset again. At least it has one that works which is more than I can say for my old 3.5mm iPhone headset I was using in the interim - the mic button on that thing does nothing in Windows.

That's really my only criticism of the headset compared to the G35 though. Not sure what the capture quality will be like compared to the G35 but the mic's only going to be used for calls so I'm not too fussed. I paid ~£70 for my G35 so adjusting for inflation, £60 for the G435 is a steal for what you get in my opinion.

Can do a fan test? If the fan blow from behind or the side of you, will the fan gives the mic a blow-over or nice and quiet?

Surprisingly, in the reviews I'm watching of this one and the G733, the mic on the G435 is way better than the G733!

I have the G433 as my PC's headset for quite a while now but since I am playing quite a lot in VR these days and Oculus' microphones tend to have issues picking up anything at all or even just to work, I consider buying either the G435 or XBOX Wireless Headset.
Still have to check which one suits me more but the G435's integrated mic makes it more appealing for VR purposes honestly despite picking up way too much background noise.

What are the noticable differences from the g733? Those had an uncomfortable clamp pressure for me.

Im dutch and im trying to hold the power button and the mic button at the same time and it goes into pairing mode but if i plug the dongle in i dont hear anything pls respond.
