We get black drum year round up here in pensacola fl

The rest of the year they come to south América, from Brasil to Argentina. From like october to march. Then they Group again and start migrating to north América again.

I am a beginner fisher-gal.... I was just under the bridge in Gulf Shores (April 6th!), and there is a MONSTER black drum hanging out right under the pier... I watched him fishing for crabs, but unfortunately all I had was shrimp, and he wanted nothing to do with them! I'll try the blue crab tomorrow. Thanks!

I live down in Satalite beach and fish the indian and banana river on alot of the causeways and i catch them from november to january

I'm just a 13 year old girl that loves fishing with her dad. I live in North Florida and I go to a bridge about 20 minutes from my house and use a surf rod with a 3oz weight and half a frozen crab on a mustad circle hook with no leader and cast about 20 to 30 yards from our Gheenoe and wait until the black drum takes it and just keep pressure on the rod (we use an Ugly Stick or a 6 ot reel with a 6 ft rod) we have caught 25 since june 1st and havent gone fishing everyday. The biggest fish we caught this year is a 47lbs and the smallest is a 22lbs

Brevard country FL checkin in. Every night all year under a bridge on shrimp or blue crabs

Night fishing the pilings with a whole crab will hook up 60-80lb fish...scrape the barnicles off the side of the pilings to chum the fish in and hold on tight 🎣

You can go to Sabine pass, Tx and go by the rocks almost to the Jeties and anchor down by the rocks and cast away from the and let it sink half way to the bottom with shrimp
