It's great to see him teaching that scaring is wrong & would bring suffering & pain to the human kids & making them laugh gives them a happier childhood

This really shows how hard that moment really hit Sulley. For who-knows-how-long, he and many others had been scaring kids just to keep the electricity going, never realizing just how much they were hurting those kids and not know what they looked like to them. Sulley saw how much Boo was scared and he saw what he looked like to kids and it really hurt him.
