National Cancer Survivors Day 2020

National Cancer Survivors Day is a little different this year.

Normally, we’d be celebrating you and your fellow survivors in our Cancer Center. There would be lots of decorations and costumes. Singing. Dancing. Prizes!

And you. Most importantly, you would be here.

Unfortunately, we cannot be together in person this year. But we are still thinking of you. We are still inspired and amazed by you, and we couldn’t let this day go by unnoticed. You all mean too much to us. We cannot wait until we can throw this party again. And you better believe it will be a heckuva party. Because it’s for all of you.

Wherever you are today, we hope you’ll take some time to reflect on what being a survivor means to you. We hope you’ll do something to celebrate. And we hope you’ll post a photo or message in the comments below. Share a favorite memory from past celebrations. Let us know how you are commemorating this Cancer Survivors Day.

We can still be together, even if we’re not.
