Beautiful dog and love how alert he is throughout the walk, always watching for threats. This is one very well trained dog. My beautiful pet German Shepherd is quite obedient and protective - but nowhere near to this level. well done :)

GSD's are amazing family protectors even without specialised training. I've had 3 over 4 decades. My dog is now over 12 years old but still healthy, driven and doesn't allow street beggars within 10 feet of me. He's great with my grandkids, gentle, perceptive and playful.
Feel privelaged to have owned such good examples of this breed. Best advice, get some at least basic help to train your dog whatever breed.

This is What a Personal Protection Dog is supposed to be. The Handler /Owner kept his dog within 6 Meters, Dog stayed in close Proximity with Family. The Threshold on the dog, where the threat had to come to the Family and the K9 shows that dog is safe on the streets, not a liability. A true Personal Protection Dog in my Opinion should not be doing Sends, or being deployed where the dog is leaving the handler in a street civilian situation. If a dog has to be sent after a suspected threat In the same fashion as the Courage Test in protection sports or Law Enforcement application, then that is no longer considered protection, but is now an assualt charge, even if you were actually being threatened, you can still get sued. If you have the option to leave the scene do so, if you have no choice, stand your ground. This dog was well trained by professionals who truly understand the laws, allowing civilians to have reliable Non Lethal Forces of protection, that will Deter threat or make them comply. This is what makes a dog more valuable than a Firearm, even though a Firearm is more Powerful and Lethal.
