After recently being on board Carnival Celebration, even though it was only for a few hours, I managed to take a look and make recommendations of cruise cabins to avoid. I also make some recommendations of cabins that are in a good location and really good if you are travelling with family and friends too.

I was just on Carnival Celebration last week, and my son and daughter were in cabin 5311 and were directly under the main stage. The bass was so bad until late in the night that the glasses on the shelves were rattling. Went to guest services to try and change cabins, but the ship was fully booked. Guest services told me that they asked the main stage to keep it down! Yes, they actually told me that. My daughter ended up sleeping on the fold-out bed in our cabin because she couldn't take it. My husband and I were in 15312 and it was lovely and quiet.

I was on the Celebration last week and had a suite on mid 9 and it was awesome!!

10409 backs on to a crew area and is noisy at most times, even late at night and very early morning - sounded like they were dragging a metal panel along

Thanks for the helpful information. We went with a cove on the Mardi Gras and loved it. We also did a Havana Cabana. We thought we’d have a problem with privacy on the balcony, but we were surprised how few people were out on theirs during our sailing.

We stayed in one of the 9th floor Excel aft cabins last year. Unfortunately it was directly above the band performance area of the bbq restaurant, so it got very loud in the evenings. Definitely do not book that room if you go to bed relatively early.

I wouldn't book any of the suites located on deck 9. They have absolutely ZERO cover overhead and all the balconies above have clear views of those cabin's balconies so they offer no privacy or any shade from the glaring sun all day.

Just got off celebration yesterday, started in room 15203. It was very quiet, only con was it was the front of shop so the balcony view was obstructed, no glad view, had to stand to see

Wonderful, I just booked one of these rooms to avoid and it was the last one available. I paid to upgrade to it too 😭 I’m so upset

We love the havana rooms on the Vista class. We would never book one on an excel class. The idea was to have an exclusive area of the aft of the ship with exclusive hot tubs and big pool looking off the back. All you get it a small pool on the side. Not worth the extra costs. We will stay in our regular balcony on the Excel class.

I sailed i. AUGUST 2024 with 2 kids...couldn't enjoy the balcony due to all the cigarette smoke for deck 8. We were in 10397
