I'm almost ready to make my soaps! I may live dangerously and do entirely different colors and fragrances, but I haven't decided yet.

Best helpful hint for doing layers (which I discovered making rainbow soaps) - liberally spray the top of the layer you’ve poured, then go off to get the next colour ready. The alcohol helps to form a ‘skin’ on the top of the soap - making it easier to add the next layer. You still have to be gentle but I’ve found it made doing layers much easier. Absolutely love this series! I’ve made CP soap years ago, long before stick blenders, tutorials on the Internet, swirls and mica! I had one book for instruction and that was it. I just got my colorants in the mail from Mad Micas. They included an unexpected bonus color for me too so I can get super creative if I want. If I end up becoming a professional soap maker after this, I will probably be buying a lot of colors from them.
