Would be awesome to get access to the states used here. It's quite frustrating when trying to do something similar and you can't find tutorials like this to help.

Are the sources from this demo available somewhere? I wonder how the Jinja section of HA Proxy configuration looks (the discovery of apache instances). Does anyone know how to achieve such dynamic discovery?

A really poor presentation of a seemingly great tool. This was the first video of Salt I ever saw and I was far from impressed. Please work in your presentation skill guys.
