World of Warships Blitz - Tactical Mistake

There are mistakes that you can compensate for, and there are those that cost you the game. This is one of the latter kind.

Carriers:
When I'm on a Vermont, the random noob carriers(yes, there are still some pro carrier players, but they're pretty rare) would never spot the destroyers I requested. I always ended up distracted from my actual job to bonk BBs and CA/CLs, having to deal with the destroyers by myself when they were close enough, and rarely came out unscathed. Then, when I'm on any destroyers, they'd leave me to get pummeled by enemy CVs while they either rush into the cap or run away to the edge of the map for whatever god-knows the reason why.

Random teams in general:
The slowest battleship would encircle a big island just to get to the edge of the map while chasing a retreating cruiser, then they'd run into a torpedo ambush. The rest of the teams going to the other flank one by one thinking 'more ships = safer and more chance of winning'. I've been forced to tank the other flank alone while my teammates lemming train-ing to oblivion. Facing 2 destroyers and one cruiser on a destroyer is far from fun, even worse on a battleship. Half the time I delayed them just enough to let my team dominates the other flank, but more often they'd fail. The only thing I'm miffed about is the fact they'd get better ranks or even battle stars while I got nothing cuz I ended up dying early.

yay I am on your video Terry, BTW i am that alone Fletcher "yolo" its actually first t9 unlocked with no blueprints (now i got 3), I dont play t9 but others were going t9 so I said ah whatever "what could possibility go wrong" then suddenly cv attacked me, then you 3 showed up i had no chance to survive so i droped the torps and tried to ran away but it was useless at that point .

But yes team need to cover both flanks this is prime example what can happen if we dont know whats coming.. GG

This actually drives me nuts, when I see my team forming up the lemming train and leaving me to hold down the flank. You'd think that by t10 people would know better.

Big mistake by enemy carrier main duty of cv is to keep dd spotted all the time however i dont play cv much but most of time i keep the dd spotted for almost full game and thats enough as i am not good in managing tb

Most of the time when I get killed early defending I watch a similar scenario play out. It usually involves DDS chasing a carrier and BBS loitering at one corner of the map looking for the carrier that has moved on or is already dead. I'm always amazed that people can spend so much time playing this game and learn nothing but gunnery. If that.

If my team lemming trains to one side of the map, I'll go where supposed to go regardless if I'm completely alone. Some may say that's wrong, but I won't make the wrong play just cause my team does, and if I sink outnumbered in the first minute I'm do it right where I'm supposed to be. Alternatively there are times where the enemy team is incompetent enough to be held back by me long enough for my teams lemming train to arrive...

When ever I play DD, s I always make sure I’m on a flank where I can get back up if needed. If I don’t have that, I play very carefully

I made a tactical mistake today by broadsiding a mino while playing a smolensk at about 7km. It didn’t end well for me at all.

I get placed with teams who let a flank collapse and get encircled I think they are scared or what because this still happens in t10

First Big mistake goes to the CV and then the whole team deciding to regroup and choosing their right flank leaving Fletcher all alone ...but again why did Fletcher went left flank alone knowing that 3 enemy DDS were present!!??
Experience player should dictate to fan out especially in a battle like Hour glass....
Btw Delny player[STEER] Wuxlyvern is an old friend of mine in game 🎮

i just comitted a tactical mistake, i did not watch the map and capped the enemy base (getting 81.8k dmg in the meantime) while the left flank was obliterated, i then proceeded to not kill the 2 shot lexington and focus the ashitaka
i was in a gneisenau

Games won after 2 min… lot of games like that on higher tiers, difference in skills with cv players make the whole difference.
