Thanks for the video and your python videos are great for beginners. I know you wanted to given example for loops but at 4:16
the better solution would be without loop and simple - if "g" in my: and this lines turns out the same result :)

Hey Chris, I'm having a problem with breakpoints. My code is the following

my_string= "this is a string"

for x in my_string:
if x == "g":
print ("yay lol")

And I've put a breakpoint on if x == "g":

but when I start debugging, Visual Studio completely ignores the breakpoint. I've got Microsoft's Python extension, and Don Jayamane's Python Extension Pack installed. Is there a setting or something that I'm missing?

i am doing this however it doesnt want to run. It says its a syntax error and i think it has something to do with the 'in' as it is highlighted blue.
