You should have run the pex inside of larger PVC pipe to protect the pex from the pH of the dirt so it would last longer than 8-10 years

Pex is hands down a very scary thing to run for a main, I would suggest running copper or flex copper to ur main it’s a little harder and time consuming but it pays off at the end and u will have that main last for a long time especially if u cover it with some kind of plastic or piping whatever workers for you

You should have sleeved the pex with like a 3/4 flex sch 40 pipe
