The government takes more than it gives to canadians. Canada is highly regulated. No respect from the government to the people, either you comply or else you pay for it. I have lived here for 35 years and i am fed up. Canadians are wonderful people who sadly leave in big brother's land.

Great point in the end. I immigrated to Canada from the Philippines about 8 years ago and just recently got my Canadian Citizenship/Passport. My wife and I are flying back home in 2 month's time. We'll see where we'll end up but definitely not in another country with winter.

We left Canada in July 2022 for El Salvador. Life has never been better. El Salvador is the safest country in the western hemisphere, and is undergoing a major economic boom. The atmosphere here is optimistic, and the future looks bright.

Lost my job at a large hospital in sept 2021 for not complying with mandates and I still can't get a job as a nurse here in Canada due to mandates still in place. I have a decade of nursing experience, its crazy. Ive comsidered moving abroad but the only thing holding me back is the amazing family and friends I have here.

As of June 6 this year I am on a 12 to 18 month countdown. I will leave - one way or another. I will continued with my book writing and publishing, and launch a podcast soon. But, outside my creative endeavours, I will do what I can to acquire a lifestyle that's not dependent on the 9-5 grind and paying those fucking high taxes.
