Valks ult is also useful for making annoying teammates rage. Yesterday there was this dude who would not stop taking, so I used my ult and he was saying I should just use it by my self, but I waited until he was right about to attach to me then I fled

2952 kills with Valk, tactical is underrated (as said in the video) but there’s a tip with the tac. If you heal mid-animation it will cancel the rockets and it will only launch some of the rockets, however, your tac cooldown will have i think 2 or 3 secs of cooldown for every rocket you launched before healing.
There’s also another tac tip, you can use the tac and jump almost at the same time, you have to press jump button once the first rocket is being launched, if timed properly, it will launch all the rockets backwards. It’s easier if you hold down the key until the tac is completely ready and then launch, release it simultaneously with the jump key. Also you need to be seeing down or it won’t work. Really useful if you’re being chased by someone.

I have a tip with her tactical that I recently found out that If you hold her tactical and look down and jump the rockets will go backwards. Good when you are being chased.

Valk main here dropping one more tip for all three abilities.

For her jetpack, the initial thrust gives you better horizontal speed. While it guzzles fuel more than a Hummer, it can get you in and out of situations better than most other legends. It can even be used to get out of Horizon's ult if you time it just right.

Next comes with her tactical, which is what I call a "flush-out." This means that while hitting the shot is good to do, having the enemy scramble to not get hit by it can open big opportunities for them to die in the open by you, your squad, or a third party. This makes it more risky to go for the res for the victim's squad. Other abilities that fall into this category include bangalore and gibby's airstrikes, revenant's silence, crypto's emp, and Maggie's drill.

Finally, her ultimate/secondary passive has one niche ability that helps tremendously both on drop and during rotations. No Mirage decoys will be scanned, including ones spawned from drop. Even though Mirage isn't the most threatening legend out there, getting bamboozled when you hit the ground can spell a moment back to the main lobby.

One of my favorite moves is using my jet pack to rush an opponent head on and pulling a 180 slide to push past an enemy and catch them off guard works really good in cqc
Also her ult is a great way to get your teams banners when you're getting fried by 3rd parties... back out with your jetpack, heal grab banners while teams are fighting, ult out and respawn your mates...

Valk main here! tips for the tac is to:
1. dont fly up and waste it. That's like, the noobiest move you can make with valk.
2. use it for your teammates. stunning the enemy your teammates are fighting will help TREMENDOUSLY with the fight. 3. target the enemy away from the fight. just like wraith, valk can hold her own in a 1v1 fight. hitting a single enemy with missiles and then pushing almost always works!
4. SMGs are Valkries best friend. Assault rifles
have bad hip fire, LMGs take too long to pull out/Start up, and Snipers require a lot of skill. SMGs are versitaile just like Valk.

As a valkyrie main I use valkyrie Q to break enemy doors and beam them. Don't see lot of people use this but it's very helpful sometimes.

Two more: You can use missile swarm inside some buildings if you crouch and you can fly horizontally if you right klick during flight or just before activating the jets, super useful inside buildings or when you need to escape say under a bridge.

I used to main horizon, but with playing arenas a lot and horizons whole point was for going up, I thought I might as well play valk because going up is her tactical. Now I main valk, have done for a while and got my first 2.5k damage badge with her the other week.
