Crossing for Crohns and Colitis

On March 23, 2012 Chance Busey crossed the Straits of Juan de Fuca from Port Angeles, Washington to Victoria, British Columbia on a 14-foot Laser sailboat. The Crossing for Crohn's and Colitis project raised money and awareness of these diseases. A total of $5,685 was donated to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) through this project. Expecting raucous weather, the actual crossing day was mostly light. The crossing took 9 hours and 28 minutes - but the event was a success. Thanks to all who supported this event!
