When the Inkopolis DLC was released, I remember thinking how nice it would be if they added Squid Sister music during splatfest battles but I always thought that was just wishful thinking. Now that it’s actually been added I’m surprised but really glad, plus I think the addition of Big Man really great!

BIG MAN SOUNDS SO GOOD, it’s seriously a dream come true for him. Been listening to this on repeat for a bit and seeing the Inkling lyrics acknowledged outside of the album and not on the Japanese channel only is WILD! It’s about time! (Nintendo UK didn’t include them)

I like the clues they give you in this so you can piece together that the collaborator is Big Man. "Ian BGM" is an anagram of "BIG Man", and the lyrics that show up when he sings are grey and often have "(Ay!)" at the end of them.

I saw someone genuinely ask “what are the lyrics to the new song? (They’re in Japanese)” to the original upload of this song so I’m VERY glad that there’s a new version with the romanized sounds, because in my honest opinion, anyone who’s played this game for over a year should know that the language is fictional/untranslatable and not Japanese
